When it launched in 2004, the PetRescue website was the first of its kind in Australia, and since then, it has been the connection for over 860,000 rescue pets and their new families. 

PetRescue’s adoption platform gives pets the best chance to find a home by bringing thousands of homeless pets face-to-face with tens of thousands of potential adopters every day. And the best part is, all PetRescue website services and adoption support programs are free and accessible to all rescue members and pet lovers alike.

Raising funds for PetRescue

PetRescue is an online platform that helps to connect people searching for a pet with animals who are desperately seeking a home. You can filter your search to find pets who are suited to your household, house and backyard size, and by the pet age you prefer, and by your location. 

We saw Bonnie listed by StrongHearts Animal Rescue. Not only was she adorable, she ticked all the boxes for us, and we had all the features that the rescue had hoped for. We were able to easily communicate with the rescue, ask each other questions, swap photos, and arrange a meet up with Bonnie. 
Without PetRescue, I'm not sure how dogs like Bonnie would find a home. She was rescued from a pound in NSW, fostered by Strong Hearts Animal Rescue, then quickly matched up with us. Now Bonnie is a part of our family and gets the royal treatment- cuddles, walks, toys, and the odd stolen vegie from our garden 😆

So we would like to support PetRescue to continue running so that we can prevent other puppies like Bonnie from being putdown simply because they are homeless and find themselves in a pound ❤️❤️❤️
