When it launched in 2004, the PetRescue website was the first of its kind in Australia, and since then, it has been the connection for over 860,000 rescue pets and their new families. 

PetRescue’s adoption platform gives pets the best chance to find a home by bringing thousands of homeless pets face-to-face with tens of thousands of potential adopters every day. And the best part is, all PetRescue website services and adoption support programs are free and accessible to all rescue members and pet lovers alike.

What a beautiful view to end our fundraiser 🌇

Today mum did 12km on her own as I'm a pug and it's too much for me. I however did my last 1km this evening 👊 This is not the end of our journey for dogs and fury friends in need, it's just the start 🐾 But thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity. You are truly amazing! And remember adopt don't shop, if you can't adopt foster, if you can't foster donate if you can't donate, spread awareness. Be the voice for animals in need. Sniff sniff 👃 🐾 🌴 🌺

Another evening stroll for our fundraising challenge. Smelling all that nature has to offer. We would have loved to have reached our goal by now, however a few set backs with mum being sick and then our foster dog being very unwell. It's been a challenge, but we are determined to complete our goal by the 31st 🤞 As always thank you, thank yooooo, for your amazing generosity. 🐾 🍋

What a beautiful spring morning to continue my fundraising for pet rescue. Loved seeing all the pretty flowers, mum was scared of all the buzzy bees so I had to be careful and watch out. 🐝 Remember ADOPT DON'T SHOP 🐾

Evening walks 🐾

Evening walk with my sister Abby pug. Abby is also a rescue, we adopted her through Pugssos when she was 5 months old. She will be six years old in October, she has hip dysplasia so she can't do big walks with us. However she loves the park and going to the beach. Remember #adoptdontshop 🐾

We've had a few hurdles recently in getting out everyday for our walks, illness in our house has been non stop. Mums a early childhood educator and dad's a teacher. So as you can imagine lots of germies come home. 

However mums feeling fresh and today me and her went on a walk and even a little run. So much fun!

We are just so grateful for all the donations received and will continue to push the message of rescue saves lives, fostering saves lives, adoption saves lives and most importantly sterilising your pets saves lives!

Sunday evening walks 🐾 🌅

Hey guys! I haven't forgotten about my challenge. Mum has the flu,how rude of her! So we have not been out of the house until this evening. We spent most of our weekend Netflix and chillin. But we got out an about watched the sun slowly come down and met a few doggo friends along the way. I'll update you on tomorrows walkies. Woof woof, Lemon 🍋

We are just blown away by the donations we received today. We never imagined we could raise this much, especially in such a hard financial climate.Without the amazing,kind hearted people like you this would not be possible. We pray that this cause also brings awareness about rescues, fostering and adopting.We want to live in a world were shelters aren't full, a world where every animal is loved, safe and cared for. Stand off 🦆 🦆

Had a stand off with some ducks on my walk this evening! Mum said to leave them alone,pfft.. she's no fun! Got home just in time before the rain hit. ☔ 🌧️ Another 1km down 👊 I'll have a summer bod in no time🤣

Our fosters #fosteringsaveslives

Just a few of our favourite Foster's in the above photo. When we lived in a rural Western Australian town we had our first foster Koa. Koa wasn't with us long and found an amazing home in Perth. On the lookout for a companion for Lemon we knew after having Koa we wanted to rescue. We found Pugssos and applied for a couple of dogs who needed homes, with open communication and complete transparency the dogs we applied for were not suited to us nor were we right for them. Then months later our perfect match was found, Miss Abby Dabby. Abby changed our lives forever,since then we have fostered several dogs and continue to do so. Although we ugly cry each time they leave it gives us such comfort knowing we loved and supported them in preparation for their new homes. To see all our fosters live their best lives now, warms our hearts. Even though it comes with alot of emotions, fostering is worth every moment. #fosteringsaveslives #adoptdontshop #rescueismyfavouritebreed

I just told Lemon the news about all the beautiful people who have donated to this amazing cause. She was thinking of having a snooze (as pugs often do 🤣), but she's perked right up knowing there is such kind humans out there willing to support animals find their furever home. Our first foster

Koa is one of the first Foster's we have ever had. We now foster with a pug rescue Pugssos here in WA. Abby our other pug is 6 years old and we adopted her from Pugssos at the age of six months, we currently have a long-term foster Ellie who is 11 years old. We feel so strongly about all dogs needing homes whether they are big,small,medium, young, old..you name it,if they have paws they deserve a loving warm home to call their own. We will never buy a dog again. Rescue is best ! #adoptdontshop

First 1km done and dusted!

As I'm a pug, and my mum is a responsible pug owner, my goal is 1km a day. I'm proud to say I completed my 1km today, even if I did have many breaks to sniff all the trees and poles I could find on the way. Here's to lots more walkies
