I'm fundraising to...

help homeless pets find their best friend!

When it launched in 2004, the PetRescue website was the first of its kind in Australia, and since then, it has been the connection for over 860,000 rescue pets and their new families.

PetRescue’s adoption platform gives pets the best chance to find a home by bringing thousands of homeless pets face-to-face with tens of thousands of potential adopters every day. And the best part is, all PetRescue website services and adoption support programs are free and accessible to all rescue members and pet lovers alike.

Will you suppawt us?

Together we can find a home for every pet that needs one!

Walking for Dogs like Hope

Hello! My name is Stevie-Lee I am a vet nurse with a passion for rescue and adoption, I am very fortunate to be the coordinator of the adoption program for my work utilising Pet Rescue to help find our cats and kittens find homes. I also foster, rehabilitate and rehome dogs who need me at the time and I have the time and resources. This had led me to many amazing doggos but most recently a special puppy named Hope.
This year I will be participating and fundraising for the Best Friend Walk for Pet rescue. I will be walking with Hope, my 6 month old foster puppy.
We will be walking the 8km Nepean River walk three times a week with our total goal being 50km completed in the month of September.
The money raised will help homeless pets just like Hope find homes.
Our fundraising goal is $300.

Hope is a very special puppy to me, she came to my work at 8 weeks old suffering serious wounds from a dog attack. Hope required FHO surgery, for a badly fractured hip and had a long recovery with me at home.
During that recovery, I found a histiocytoma  on her leg, a tumour common in puppies.
We treated the tumour with meds and plenty of Love and care and it has thankfully nearly resolved on it own. Being a staffy Hope has also had plenty of skin issues which we are still battling. Rescuing is not easy and it takes so much dedication, patience and understanding but they day they find their forever homes, makes the long and hard days worth it.

There are so many dogs just like Hope needing help and this is can be your chance to help us help them.

Hope and I will be at the river in September with her Adoption banner on and ready to meet new friends along the way!
(If Hope is adopted by then I will still be doing the walk and will be walking adoption dogs that are looking for their forever homes from Jades Dog Rescue)

So please support is if you can, or come join us around the river in September ❤️
