Sally's Story

Hey! 
I'm Sally, I'm a 18month old Border Collie X kelpie 🐾

I began my life as a working dog but when my old family found out that I has a heart murmur. Because I kept coughing and I couldn't run and run all day, or  keep up with everyone else on the farm! 
I was surrendered to a pound in NSW.


Don't fret!!! 
(I'm a city girl at heart anyway 🗽💞)


A lady who runs a rescue business and helps to rehome every kind of animal... Was on a pound website and saw my beautiful smile and ecided that I was going to be given another chance. 🎉
She put me up on her Facebook page and within a short time my mum had made an enquiry!!! Next thing I remember, I was on a transport van with a little trailer towing behind, on my way to the Gold Coast!!! 


WOW!!! What a big adventure!!!!  
When I arrived, there was thirteen kittens and two other dogs with me😺😻  It was very busy!!! 
I was sooooo excited to get off!!! 🌟✨

Two of the kittens, who are now my brother and sister didn't have the same organised accommodation as I did. So, instead of it just being me!!! We came as a trio!!!!!!!

Enigma is my brother, and Helga is my sister. We are all so happy with our forever home. 
I was very scared of other dogs at the doggy park and anxious around loud noises and fast movements the first week or so. 

That was in April!!!

It's August now and after a uncertain start to life. I can't wait for summer! Mum has promised that there's a beach with waves we will go to!!! I don't like to swim but maybe she can teach me. 
I've got a beautiful home and I'm joining in the best friends walk because I want to raise $200 which will get another 4 animals into there furrrrever homes!!! Where they can be loved and maybe I might even get to meet them at a park one day!!!! 

Anyway, that's my story....
