When it launched in 2004, the PetRescue website was the first of its kind in Australia, and since then, it has been the connection for over 860,000 rescue pets and their new families. 

PetRescue’s adoption platform gives pets the best chance to find a home by bringing thousands of homeless pets face-to-face with tens of thousands of potential adopters every day. And the best part is, all PetRescue website services and adoption support programs are free and accessible to all rescue members and pet lovers alike.

That's it! Challenge completed, unfortunately though we did not meet our fundraising goal of $500, and we still have $396 still to raise.

Rudi made a friend at the dog park today. A German Spitz named Ernie, she was gorgeous and the pair of them got along so well 💖 (see gallery image)

Bunny was adopted!!!

Since starting this fundraiser the small amount of funds that has been raised has given Bunny a home.

Bunny looks very similar to Rudi! They could be siblings!

"Meet little Bunny who has just been adopted into a loving home on the 11th of August! We thought she looked so similar to Rudi and had to share her adorable photo with you 💚 By raising $37, you, Jake and Rudi has already helped Bunny be seen and given her the best chance to find a loving home!"

Every dollar counts to help dogs find loving homes and the care they need. Thank you so much to Alesha for notifying me about Bunny, I hope she has a thriving life in her new home.

We are only 10 days away from our challenge and hope that people can support us and follow us.

Our mission

Hello everyone,

Thank you for visiting my fundraiser page. For one month Rudi, Jake, and I are doing the best friends walk in September to raise money for homeless pets.

Since recently adopting our little girl, Rudi, I thought this would be something that I can do with her and Jake as a fun way to get in more walks and activities, while raising funds.

The funds raised will make a difference. Your money will go towards providing shelter, medical care, or help with other needs of homeless pets. Things are tough for everyone, so only donate what you can. And if you cannot donate please share my page and spread the word of this fundraiser.

I sincerely appreciate those who support my fundraiser. And I cannot wait to share our progress throughout the month of September.
